𧡠Commentary
After the death of Ahaziah, Athaliah takes power and attempts to destroy the royal line. It seems as if everything is about to end.
But something different is happening in secret.
A child is saved. Joash β a little boy hidden in the temple. While darkness reigns outside, hope is growing in secret.
Years pass. Quietly, unnoticed, hidden.
Then the moment comes.
The priest Jehoiada steps forward. He does not act hastily, but with preparation. He gathers leaders, organizes guards, and carefully arranges everything.
Then the boy is brought out.
Joash is crowned king.
A moment that changes everything. The people recognize it, rejoice, and something shifts. The power built on fear loses its hold.
Athaliah reacts with a single word: Treason.
But in reality, it is restoration.
She is overthrown. Order returns.
Jehoiada leads the people back to God. A covenant is renewed. The temple is cleansed. What had been destroyed begins to be rebuilt.
This chapter reveals a powerful truth: even when everything seems lost, God is often working in secret β until the right moment comes.

π Introduction
Over time, something crept into Godβs work that changed everything: greed.

𧡠Commentary
The descendants of those once humble craftsmen still possessed great abilities. But slowly their hearts changed. They began to see their talents no longer as gifts from God, but as means for personal advantage.
Higher and higher wages were demanded. Comparison, envy, and selfish ambition spread. The joy of service gave way to the desire for profit.
This change also became evident during Solomonβs temple construction. The king did not fully trust that God Himself would call the necessary people. Instead, he brought Hiram from Tyre β a man of great artistic skill, but shaped by the spirit of this world.
Under his influence, the atmosphere of the work changed. Dedication became ambition. Sacrifice became selfishness.
