Solomon chooses a very specific place for the temple.
It is not by chance.
The temple is built on a mountain in Jerusalem — on Mount Moriah.
This is a place with history. Even before, people had encountered God there.
Now, in that very place, a house for God is to be built.
🧱 The beginning of the construction
In the fourth year of his reign, Solomon begins building.
Everything is prepared.
The workers are ready.
The materials are in place.
The plan is set.
Now it begins.
Stone by stone, the temple takes shape.

The temple is not built just any way.
Everything is carefully planned:
How long it is.
How wide it is.
How high it is.
Every part has its place.
This shows: for God, things are not done casually — they are built with care.

It is called the “Most Holy Place.”
The Ark of the Covenant will later be placed there — a sign of God’s presence.

They fill the space and show: this place belongs entirely to God.

The entrance is also specially designed.
Doors, decorations, gold — everything is made with care.
Anyone entering the temple should feel:
This is a special place.
