👑 The King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End

⚓ April 21 – God’s Word as an Anchor: Truth in the End Times

Monthly Theme: The Signs of the Times – Watch and Pray
Year Theme 2026: “The King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End”

📖 Central Bible Text of the Day

“Sanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth.”
John 17:17

🌅 Devotional of the Day

In a time when many things become uncertain,
when voices grow louder and opinions multiply,
one question remains:

What is truth?

Jesus gives a clear answer —
not in a theory,
but in a source:

“Your word is truth.”

God’s Word is not just information.
It is guidance.
It is light in a world
where much becomes blurred.

An Anchor for the Soul

When waves rise,
a ship needs something that holds it.

Not something that moves with them,
but something firm.

That is what God’s Word is.

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
Psalm 119:105

It does not always show the whole path at once,
but it gives enough light for the next step.

Ellen G. White wrote:
“Only those who know and love the Word of God will remain firm in the time of deception.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 593)

🌿 Truth That Reaches the Heart

The Bible is not only meant to be read —
it wants to reach the heart.

If we only understand it,
but do not live it,
it remains external.

But if we receive it,
it begins to transform us.

Thoughts become clearer.
Decisions become more intentional.
The heart becomes calmer.

🕊️ Remaining in the Truth

Jesus not only invites us to know the truth,
but to remain in it.

“If you remain in my word…
you will know the truth.”

John 8:31–32

Remaining means:
holding on, even when it is difficult.
being faithful, even when it is uncomfortable.
trusting, even when not everything is immediately understood.

🌄 A Life That Is Sustained

In the last days many things will be shaken —
convictions, securities, systems.

But whoever is rooted in God’s Word
has a foundation that does not break.

Not because everything is easy,
but because God is faithful.

His Word sustains —
through doubts, questions, and times of uncertainty.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for Your Word that gives me stability.

In a world full of voices
I want to listen to Your voice.

Teach me not only to read Your Word,
but to keep it in my heart.

Give me clarity,
when I am uncertain,
and strength to remain in Your truth.

Amen.
