πŸ‘‘ The King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End

🀝 April 29 – Trust Instead of Fear: God’s Hand Holds You

Monthly Theme: The Signs of the Times – Watch and Pray
Year Theme 2026: β€œThe King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End”

πŸ“– Central Bible Verse of the Day

β€œDo not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you, I will surely help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

β€” Isaiah 41:10

πŸŒ… Devotional of the Day

There are many things that can cause fear.
Uncertainty about the future,
changes in the world,
personal worries that grow quietly.

And especially when we think about the signs of the times,
fear can quietly creep into the heart.

But in the midst of all this, God speaks a simple and clear word:

β€œDo not fear.”

Not because there is nothing to worry about β€”
but because He is there.

✨ The Presence of God Changes Everything

God does not first give us an explanation,
but a promise.

β€œI am with you.”

These four words carry a depth
that changes everything.

If God is with us,
we are not alone in what is coming.
Then we do not need to understand everything
in order to still be secure.

Ellen G. White wrote:
β€œThe presence of God drives away fear and fills the heart with peace.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 600)

🌿 Fear or Trust

Fear focuses on what might happen.
Trust focuses on the One who holds us.

Both cannot fill the heart at the same time.

β€œThe Lord is my light and my salvation;
whom shall I fear?”

β€” Psalm 27:1

Trust is not a natural reaction.
It is a decision,
that must be made again and again.

πŸ•ŠοΈ Held Even When We Are Weak

God does not say:
β€œHold on to Me.”

He says:
β€œI hold you.”

That is the difference.

Our grip is limited.
His hand is strong.

Even when our faith wavers,
His faithfulness remains.

Ellen G. White wrote:
β€œIt is not our strength that holds us, but God’s hand, which never lets us go.”
(Maranatha, p. 192)

πŸŒ„ A Peaceful Heart in Troubled Times

The world can be loud,
restless, unpredictable.

But in the midst of it,
the heart can become calm.

Not because everything is resolved,
but because there is Someone
who is greater than everything that is coming.

A heart that trusts
lives differently.

Freer.
Deeper.
Sustained.

πŸ™ Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
You know my worries and my fears.

Thank You for telling me: Do not fear.

Help me to trust You,
even when I do not understand everything.

Hold me firmly in Your hand
and give me peace in my heart.

Let me live in Your trust
and experience Your presence anew each day.

Amen.

πŸ’ Thought for the Day

β€œWhere God’s presence is recognized, fear loses its power.”
β€” Ellen G. White

πŸ’‘ Personal Application

  1. Read Isaiah 41:8–13 and Psalm 27.
Which promise speaks to you the most?
  2. Pray: β€œLord, I entrust my worries to You.”
  3. Practical: Today, consciously give one specific fear to God in prayer.

🌺 Closing Verse

β€œFor God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.”
β€” 2 Timothy 1:7
