👑 Soon the King Comes – Hope Beyond the End
🚪 April 15 – The Door Is Closed: The Seriousness of the Decision
Monthly Theme: The Signs of the Times – Watch and Pray
Yearly Theme 2026: “Soon the King Comes – Hope Beyond the End”
📖 Central Bible Text of the Day
“And those who were ready went in with him to the wedding, and the door was shut.”
— Matthew 25:10
🌅 Devotional of the Day
The parable of the ten virgins ends with a solemn moment:
The door is closed.
The wise virgins enter —
the foolish remain outside.
This scene shows:
There is a moment,
when decisions become final.
✨ Time of Grace
Today the door is open.
Today God invites.
“Behold, I have set before you an open door.”
— Revelation 3:8
God’s grace is great.
His patience is long.
But it is not unlimited.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“The time of grace will not last forever; a moment will come when the door will be closed.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 428)
🌿 Too Late Is Too Late
The foolish virgins returned too late.
They knocked —
but the answer was:
“I do not know you.”
— Matthew 25:12
Not because God did not love them,
but because they had no real relationship with Him.
🕊️ Decision Today
God forces no one.
He invites.
Every daily decision
shapes our heart.
Today we decide,
where we stand.
“Choose this day whom you will serve.”
— Joshua 24:15
🌄 Seriousness and Hope
This message is serious —
but not without hope.
For as long as we live,
the door is still open.
Every day is grace.
Every moment an invitation.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“Now is the time to give your heart to God and be ready for His coming.”
(Maranatha, p. 220)
🙏 Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You that Your door of grace is open today.
Help me not to overlook or postpone this time.
Give me a determined heart,
that chooses You today.
Let me be ready,
when You come.
Amen.
💭 Thought for the Day
“The most important decision must not be postponed until tomorrow.”
— Ellen G. White
