👑 The King is coming soon – Hope beyond the end

🙏 March 25 – Daniel’s humility: knowledge leads to worship

Monthly theme: Daniel: The God who directs history – faithfulness in the fire of testing
Year theme 2026: “Soon the King is coming – hope beyond the end”

📖 Central Bible text of the day

“Then Daniel praised the God of heaven and said: Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and power belong to Him.”
Daniel 2:19–20

🌅 Devotional of the day

When God revealed Nebuchadnezzar’s dream to Daniel,
his first reaction was not pride—
but worship.

He knew:
The revelation did not come from his own wisdom.

“This mystery has been revealed to me,
not because I have more wisdom than any living person.”

Daniel 2:30

True knowledge leads to humility.
The more we understand God,
the more clearly we recognize our dependence on Him.

Knowledge without pride

Daniel lived in an environment
where knowledge meant power.

But he made it clear:
All wisdom comes from God.

Ellen G. White wrote:
“Daniel gave all the glory to God. In his humility lay his true greatness.”
(Prophets and Kings, p. 494)

Spiritual understanding must never lead to arrogance.
It should lead to worship.

🌿 Worship at the center of life

Daniel praised God even before he went before the king.
His relationship with God was more important than his public success.

“Give the Lord the glory due His name.”
Psalm 29:2

Worship is more than singing.
It is an attitude of the heart
that gives God first place.

🕊️ Knowledge and responsibility

The more light we receive,
the greater our responsibility.

Daniel used his knowledge
to serve others and glorify God.

Ellen G. White wrote:
“Knowledge becomes a blessing when it is used in the service of God.”
(Maranatha, p. 60)

🌄 A life for the glory of God

Daniel’s life shows:
humility and spiritual depth go hand in hand.

He was a man of great insight—
but of even greater devotion.

We too are invited
to use every gift and every piece of knowledge
for the glory of God.

🙏 Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for every light You give me.

Guard my heart from pride
and teach me true humility.

Let knowledge draw me closer to You
and not away from You.

Make my life an expression of Your glory.

Amen.
