👑 THE KING IS COMING SOON | 22.03.2026 | 🌅 God’s Faithfulness Through the Generations
👑 The King is coming soon – Hope beyond the end
🌅 March 22 – God’s Faithfulness Through the Generations
Monthly Theme: Daniel: The God Who Directs History – Faithfulness in the Fire of Testing
Yearly Theme 2026: “The King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End”
📖 Central Bible Verse of the Day
“But the LORD endures forever; your God, O Zion, to all generations.”
— Psalm 146:10
🌅 Devotion of the Day
The book of Daniel spans a wide arc across generations.
Kings change, kingdoms fall, cultures transform —
yet one thing remains unchanged: God’s faithfulness.
Daniel served under several rulers:
Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus.
Political systems changed constantly,
but God remained the same.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”
— Hebrews 13:8
✨ A Faithfulness That Goes Beyond a Lifetime
Daniel did not see the full fulfillment of all the visions.
Many prophecies were far in the future.
Yet he trusted in God’s plan.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“Daniel was permitted to see that God works through all generations and surely accomplishes His purposes.”
(Prophets and Kings, p. 547)
God’s faithfulness does not end with one stage of life.
It carries through the generations.
🌿 A God of History
Sometimes it seems as if the world is out of control.
But Daniel reminds us:
God stands above time and history.
“He removes kings and raises up kings.”
— Daniel 2:21
This gives us peace:
Our hope does not depend on political developments,
but on God’s unchanging character.
🕊️ Our Role in God’s Plan
Daniel was faithful in his generation.
He did not have to complete everything —
only to fulfill his part.
We too are part of a greater story.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“Each generation has its work in the great plan of God.”
(Maranatha, p. 38)
Faithfulness today often reaches further
than we can see.
🌄 Hope Beyond Time
God’s promises go beyond our own lifetime.
That is why Daniel could rest in peace,
knowing that God’s plan continues.
The same is true for us:
We may not live to see the fulfillment of all things —
but we belong to an eternal kingdom.
🙏 Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You that Your faithfulness never ends.
When times change and everything seems uncertain,
help me to trust in You.
Let me live faithfully in my generation
and fulfill my part in Your plan.
Thank You that Your kingdom endures through all ages.
Amen.
💭 Thought for the Day
“People come and go — God’s faithfulness remains.”
— Ellen G. White
💡 Personal Application
Read Daniel 2:20–23 and Daniel 12:13.
What do you learn about God’s guidance through history?
Pray: “Lord, help me to live faithfully in my time.”
Practical: Encourage someone younger or older in the faith today — as a sign of spiritual unity across generations.
🌺 Closing Verse
“The mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear Him.”
— Psalm 103:17
