๐Ÿคฉ Bible Stories to Marvel At

Where Godโ€™s miracles grow big โ€“ for little and big children

โœจ Judges 3 โ€“ Three rescuers God sends when everyone thinks itโ€™s too late

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ How God chooses courageous people to set His people free

๐ŸŸ  Introduction

Israel was in trouble again. They had forgotten God and trusted other gods.
But God does not give up. Like a good shepherd, He looks for His sheep โ€” and calls people to fight for Him.
In Judges 3 we meet three men whom God uses to rescue Israel.
Some are brave, some surprising, one is even very quiet.
But they all show one thing: God can use anyone.

๐Ÿ“– The Bible story

After Joshua died, the people of Israel grew tired in their faith.
They wanted to live like the nations around them โ€” colorful gods, strange festivals, shiny statues.
It looked exciting โ€ฆ โœจ
but behind the sparkle waited deep darkness.

Soon they were no longer free.
Enemies came and took their land, their fields, their homes.
Israel cried โ€” and called out to God.
And God heard them. ๐Ÿ‘‚โค๏ธ

๐Ÿฅ‡ First rescuer: Othniel

A courageous man, calm but strong in heart.
When he prayed, he knew: โ€œGod is with me.โ€
With Godโ€™s help, Israel regained its freedom! ๐ŸŽ‰

A few years later, it happened again.
The people forgot God โ€” and a new king oppressed them.
Once more they cried out: โ€œLord, help us!โ€

๐Ÿฅˆ Second rescuer: Ehud

Ehud was special โ€” he was left-handed!
No one paid attention to him.
But God saw him. ๐ŸŒŸ

He was brave, quick, and clever.
He slipped into the enemy camp,
did what no one else dared to do โ€”
and Israel was free again!

For many years there was peace. ๐Ÿ•Š

๐Ÿฅ‰ Third rescuer: Shamgar

Only one sentence is written about him in the Bible โ€” but what a sentence!
With a simple stick ๐Ÿ‚
he defeated a whole army.

Not with swords,
not with soldiers,
but with courage and Godโ€™s power.

Sometimes one brave heart
is enough to make history.
