๐Ÿ‘‘ The King is coming soon โ€“ Hope beyond the end

๐Ÿ“… January 17 โ€“ The Song of the Redeemed

Monthly theme: The blessed hope โ€“ living in expectation
Year theme 2026: โ€œSoon the King is coming โ€“ hope beyond the endโ€

๐Ÿ“– Central Bible text of the day

โ€œAnd they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders;
and no one could learn the song except the 144,000,
who have been redeemed from the earth.โ€

โ€” Revelation 14:3

๐ŸŒ… Devotional thought of the day

Music has its origin in heaven.
It is the language of the heart,
the answer of love to Godโ€™s love.
When the redeemed enter the new earth,
a song will sound
that no human has ever heard beforeโ€”
a new song that only those understand
who have been redeemed and cleansed by the blood of the Lamb.

โ€œAnd they sing the song of Moses, the servant of God,
and the song of the Lamb:
Great and marvelous are Your works,
Lord God Almighty;
just and true are Your ways,
O King of the nations.
โ€
โ€” Revelation 15:3

This song is not mere sound.
It is the story of redemption,
the melody of graceโ€™s victory over sin.
Only those who have suffered, believed, and overcome
can sing itโ€”
because it is born from their experience.

โœจ The Song of Victory

Every note of this heavenly song will be marked by the cross.
The cross, once a symbol of suffering,
will become the instrument of victory.

Ellen G. White wrote:

โ€œThe song of the redeemedโ€”the song of Moses and the Lambโ€”
is a song of experience.
Only those who have been delivered from Satanโ€™s power,
who have endured temptations, trials, and suffering,
can sing this song.
โ€
(The Great Controversy, p. 649)

When the universe hears this song,
it will not be the voice of a choir of humans alone,
but the echo of divine joy:
the answer of Godโ€™s love that has reached its goal.

๐ŸŒฟ The Harmony of Heaven

In heaven there will be no more discord.
Every voice, every heart, every being will sound in perfect unity.
The angels, the people, the worldsโ€”
all will together sing Godโ€™s praise.

โ€œPraise the Lord from the heavens; praise Him in the heights!
Praise Him, all His angels; praise Him, all His host!
For He commanded and they were created.
โ€
โ€” Psalm 148:1โ€“5

Ellen White describes:

โ€œThe whole universe will be filled with the music of praise.
From the smallest atom to the greatest world, every creature will unite its voice.
And the song they sing will echo through eternity again and again:
โ€˜God is love.โ€™
โ€
(The Great Controversy, p. 678)

In this harmony lies complete restorationโ€”
no pride, no separation, no discord anymore.
Everything is love in perfect unity.

๐Ÿ•Š๏ธ The song begins already today

Even on earth this song can begin.
Not in perfect harmony,
but in sincere gratitude.
When you praise God despite darkness,
you quietly join in the song of heaven.

โ€œI will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
โ€
โ€” Psalm 34:2

Ellen White wrote:

โ€œThe song of redemption begins here on earth.
When we praise Godโ€™s goodness now,
our hearts are prepared
to one day sing heavenโ€™s melody in perfection.
โ€
(Early Writings, p. 291)

Every sincere prayer, every thanks, every hymn of praise today
is a rehearsal for the eternal concert of the redeemed.

๐Ÿ™ Prayer

Father in heaven,
teach me to learn the song of the redeemed already today.

Give me a heart that praises You, even in lifeโ€™s trials.

Let my words, my actions, and my thoughts
become a song of Your grace.

And when I one day stand before Your throne,
let me sing with those whom You have redeemed from the earth.

Amen.

๐Ÿ’ญ Thought for the day

โ€œPraise to God is the highest form of faith.
Whoever praises Him now while the path is dark,
will one day sing with joy when the light shines eternally.
โ€
โ€” Ellen G. White, Maranatha, p. 362

๐Ÿ’ก Personal application

  1. Read Revelation 14:1โ€“5 and 15:1โ€“4.
Think about what the โ€œnew songโ€ means to you.

  2. Pray: โ€œLord, teach me to praise You in everyday life.โ€

  3. Practical:
Sing or read a hymn of praise today,
    especially when you feel weakโ€”
and see how God strengthens your heart.

๐ŸŒบ Closing verse

โ€œLet everything that has breath praise the Lord! Hallelujah!โ€
โ€” Psalm 150:6
