โค๏ธ๐ FROM THE HEART | March 6, 2026 | The Rising Generation Z in Mission | Pastor Erton Kรถhler
Have you noticed the pulse of a generation that refuses to be ignored? In recent months, young people born between 1997 and 2012 have taken to the streets, screens, and service fields determined to make life matter in ways the world has not seen in decades. Their voices echo across continents. Their passion spills onto timelines and public squares. Their longing for justice and meaning rings louder than political speeches.
We live in a time of digital speed, constant connection, and endless distraction. Yet ironically, we face a growing deficiency of attention, empathy, and community. Gen Z now reports the highest levels of loneliness among all generations. Youth-led protests have spread across countries as young adults react to corruption, injustice, and the absence of opportunity. These are not abstract indices. These are alarms.
The Word of God stands steady in a shaking world. It gives identity to those who feel lost and courage to those who feel overwhelmed. Youth are not ornaments of the church. They are instruments in God’s hands.
What if the hunger for revolution we see in the streets could be transformed into a revolution of compassion inside the church? What if the protests for justice could become commitments to service? Faith does not silence questions. It shapes them. The church must become a place where youth can wrestle honestly and dream boldly. The generation Z church is not asleep. It is alive.
