๐ Central Bible Verse of the Day
โBut you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end.โ
โ Daniel 12:4
๐ Devotion of the Day
At the end of his visions, Daniel receives an unusual command:
He is to seal the words.
This does not mean they were unimportantโ
on the contrary.
They were intended for a future generation.
God reveals truth step by step.
Not everything is understood immediately.
Yet everything happens according to His perfect timeline.
โFor the vision is yet for an appointed timeโฆ
though it delays, wait for it.โ
โ Habakkuk 2:3
โจ Godโs Timing Is Perfect
Daniel himself did not understand every detail of his visions.
He was shaken, deeply movedโ
yet God told him:
โGo your way.โ
Not everything must be explained immediately
for us to trust.
Ellen G. White wrote:
โGod carries forward His work step by step. What was sealed at one time will be understood at the proper time.โ
(The Great Controversy, p. 356)
This strengthens our faith:
History is not random,
but an ordered plan.
๐ฟ Knowledge in the Time of the End
Daniel 12:4 also says:
โMany shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.โ
In the time of the end, prophetic understanding would grow.
Not to satisfy curiosity,
but to prepare Godโs people.
God gives light when it is needed.
๐๏ธ Trust Despite Uncertainty
Perhaps there are also questions in your life
for which you do not yet have an answer.
Danielโs experience teaches us:
Not everything has to be explained today.
โWhat I am doing you do not understand now,
but you will know after this.โ
โ John 13:7
Faith means trusting God,
even when we cannot yet see the whole plan.
๐ Sealed โ But Not Forgotten
The book was sealed,
but not lost.
Godโs truth remains,
even when it is temporarily hidden.
The same is true for His promises:
Sometimes they seem distant,
yet they are fulfilled at the appointed time.
๐ Prayer
Dear Father in heaven,
thank You that You hold history in Your hands.
Help me to trust Your timeline,
even when I do not understand everything.
Give me patience while waiting
and joy for the light You provide.
Keep my heart firm in Your hope
until all Your promises are fulfilled.
Amen.
