🌅 Devotional of the Day
The Second Coming of Jesus is not only a future event, but the moment when all hope finds its fulfillment. What we have carried by faith will then become visible. What we have hoped for will become reality.
The Bible describes this moment not with fear, but with joy. It is the joy of the redeemed, who recognize that God has kept His promise. Suffering, pain, and separation will not have the final word. God Himself will make all things new.
Today we still live in a world marked by imperfection. But the promise shows that this reality will not remain forever. The Second Coming will bring a transformation deeper than anything we now know.
✨ The Joy of Fulfillment
The joy the Bible speaks of is not superficial. It is the result of a journey with God. It arises from trust that has been tested and proven.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“The joy of the redeemed will be complete when they see their Redeemer face to face.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 678)
This encounter is the climax of all hope.
🌿 Hope Becomes Reality
Everything we now grasp only by faith will then become visible. God’s nearness, His love, and His faithfulness will no longer be hidden.
This perspective gives direction to our lives. It shows that our trust is not in vain.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“The promises of God will be fully fulfilled, and the redeemed will see their fulfillment.”

🕊️ Living With This Joy
The joy of the future begins even today. It grows through trust in God’s promises and accompanies us through life.
Even when we face challenges, we may know that a day is coming when everything will be made new. This assurance sustains us.

Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for the hope of Jesus’ Second Coming.
Thank You that You will make all things new
and that my trust is not in vain.
Fill my heart with Your joy
and let me live in this hope.
Set my eyes on You
and hold me firmly in Your promise.
Amen.
