🌅 Devotional of the Day
At the end of this month, our eyes are not fixed on fear, but on hope. The heavenly judgment shows us that God acts justly, that his grace saves, and that Christ intercedes for his people. Everything we have considered leads to one great truth: the King is coming.
The judgment is not the end of hope, but the path toward completion. It reveals that God leaves nothing to chance. He sees every life, every decision, every tear, and every faithful surrender. Yet above all stands not human achievement, but the grace of Christ. Whoever is secure in him may look forward to the coming King with confidence.
Revelation 22:12 reminds us that Jesus will return and that his coming is connected with justice. He brings his reward with him. This statement makes it clear that our lives have meaning. Nothing done out of faith, love, and faithfulness is in vain. God forgets no quiet devotion and no service done out of love.
Yet this promise is not only solemn, but also comforting. The One who is coming is the same One who died for us. The Judge is our Redeemer. The King bears the marks of the cross. Therefore, God’s people do not need to live in fear, but in holy expectation.
✨ The Judgment Leads to Completion
The heavenly judgment shows that God’s plan of redemption is moving toward its goal. There will be an end to sin, a vindication of God’s character, and the final restoration of all things.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“When the judgment is finished, Christ will come to redeem his people and give them the kingdom.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 428)
This truth turns our eyes forward. The judgment is not an endless process, but part of the preparation for the second coming of Jesus.
🌿 Ready Through Christ
Readiness for the King does not arise from fear, but from relationship. Whoever trusts Christ lives in his grace, allows himself to be transformed by him, and remains close to him.
Our security does not lie in feeling worthy in ourselves, but in the fact that Christ is worthy. He is our righteousness, our Intercessor, and our hope.

🕊️ A Life with a Clear Conscience
The goal of this month has been to live with a clear conscience and trust in Christ. A clear conscience does not mean that we have never fallen. It means that we have brought our guilt to Christ and accepted his forgiveness.
In this way, we may go out to meet the coming King: not carelessly, but full of peace. Not proudly, but full of confidence. Not in our own strength, but in his grace.
🙏 Prayer
Dear Father in heaven,
thank you for the message of the heavenly judgment.
Thank you that your judgment is just and that your grace is greater than my guilt.
Help me to live with a clear conscience and firm trust in Christ.
Prepare my heart for the second coming of Jesus.
Let me wait for the coming King not in fear, but in hope and faithfulness.
Amen.
