πŸ“’ July 1 – The Everlasting Gospel: God’s Final Message of Grace

Monthly theme: The three angels’ messages – The final message of grace
2026 yearly theme: β€œSoon the King Is Coming – Hope Beyond the End”

πŸ“– Central Bible Text for the Day

β€œAnd I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people.”
β€” Revelation 14:6

πŸŒ… Devotional of the Day

The three angels’ messages do not begin with a threat, but with the gospel. This is important because it shows how God wants his final message to the world to be understood. Before judgment, Babylon, or solemn decision are mentioned, the good news comes first: God saves through Jesus Christ.

The gospel is everlasting because it does not come from human thinking. It has its origin in the heart of God. Even before humanity fell, God knew the way of redemption. In Christ, this plan became visible. His life, his death, his resurrection, and his intercession in heaven form the foundation of every hope.

When the angel proclaims the everlasting gospel, this message is directed to the whole earth. No one is excluded. No nation, no language, no culture, and no person stands outside God’s call. This shows the breadth of his grace. God’s final message is not narrow or limited to one nation, but worldwide.

This truth is especially meaningful for our time. Many people associate end-time messages with fear, pressure, or dark images. But Revelation 14 begins with grace. God warns because he loves. He calls because he wants to save. He speaks to the world because people are not indifferent to him.

Therefore, the three angels’ messages must never be proclaimed apart from the gospel. If Christ is not at the center, the message becomes a burden. But when Jesus is at the center, it becomes a call of hope, truth, and faithfulness.

✨ God’s Final Message Begins with Grace

God does not begin his final warning with condemnation, but with an invitation. This reveals his character. He is not looking first for faults, but for people. He does not want to destroy, but to save.

Ellen G. White wrote:

β€œThese messages are the last warnings to be given to the world.”

(The Great Controversy, p. 436)

These warnings are serious, but they are carried by grace. God does not warn because his love ends, but because his love wants to reach people before it is too late.

🌿 A Gospel for All People

The angel proclaims this message to all who dwell on the earth. The gospel does not belong only to certain people or certain groups. It is God’s call to all humanity.

This reminds us that we too are called to share this message. Not with harshness, not with pride, but with love, clarity, and humility. The world does not need cold religious information, but the living hope found in Christ.

Ellen G. White wrote:

β€œThe gospel is to be revealed to the world not only through words, but through the lives of those who follow Christ.”

(Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 415)

πŸ•ŠοΈ The Foundation of All Three Messages

Everything that follows in the three angels’ messages must be understood from the perspective of the gospel. The judgment is gospel because Christ is our Intercessor. The call out of Babylon is gospel because God wants to lead people out of confusion. The warning against false worship is gospel because God wants to preserve our hearts for true worship.

That is why July begins with this truth: God’s final message is a message of grace. It calls for decision, but it begins with Christ.

πŸ™ Prayer

Dear Father in heaven,
thank you for the everlasting gospel, which brings hope to the whole world.

Thank you that your final message does not begin with fear, but with your grace.

Help me to keep Christ at the center of my faith.

Teach me to share your truth with love and to make my life a testimony of your goodness.

Prepare my heart to carry your message in word and life.

Amen.
