🧭 When God Changes Your Plans
📖 Matthew 1:24–25
“When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him…”

Have you ever made a plan…
…and then everything turned out differently?
Perhaps you imagined your future in a completely different way.
Perhaps a friendship ended.
Perhaps you had to say goodbye.
Perhaps God closed a door that you desperately wanted to open.
Joseph knew that feeling.
His life had been planned.
His future seemed clear.
And then God changed everything.
Not to take something away from Joseph.
But to entrust him with something greater.
Sometimes we understand God’s ways only much later.
In the moment, we see only the change.
But God sees the destination.
Perhaps God is changing your plans right now as well.
That is not always easy.
But when God closes one path, He already has another one in mind.
Joseph did not say:
“I understand everything.”
Through his life, he said:
“I trust You.”
Perhaps that can be your decision this evening too.
Not to understand everything.
But to trust God.
💭 Think About It
Is there an area of your life in which God has changed your plans?
Can you still trust Him?
🙏 Prayer
Dear Father,
sometimes I do not understand why things turn out differently from the way I hoped.
Help me to trust You even when my plans change.
Give me the assurance that Your ways are good and that You never lose sight of me.
Lead me step by step.
Amen.
