Yearly Theme 2026: β€œThe King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End”

πŸ“– Central Bible Verse of the Day

β€œYou shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind … and your neighbor as yourself.”
β€” Matthew 22:37–39

πŸŒ… Devotional of the Day

When Jesus was asked about the greatest commandment, He did not give a long explanation, but a clear answer: love. Not as a feeling, but as a way of life. Love for God and love for others are inseparably connected and form the center of a genuine life of faith.

This love does not begin with us. It has its origin in God. At the cross it became visible in all its depth. There we see how far God’s love goes β€” and it is exactly this love that He wants to place in our hearts.

Therefore, a life of faith is shown not only in words or religious actions, but especially in the way we love. In our relationships, in the way we treat others, and in the small decisions of everyday life, it becomes visible whether this love shapes our lives.

✨ Love as the Fulfillment of the Law

God’s commandments are not separated from one another, but find their fulfillment in love. Whoever truly loves will not knowingly act against God’s will.

Ellen G. White wrote:
β€œLove is the principle that rules heaven and should also govern the lives of believers.”
(Christ’s Object Lessons, p. 49)

This love is not superficial or changeable, but constant and focused on the good of others.

🌿 Love in Everyday Life

Love is often shown in simple things: in patience, in a kind word, in understanding, or in the willingness to forgive. It is not always great acts, but many small steps.

Yet this is exactly where the challenge lies. True love puts self aside and seeks the good of others.

Ellen G. White wrote:
β€œThe love of Christ in the heart will reveal itself in selfless kindness toward others.”
(Steps to Christ, p. 77)

πŸ•ŠοΈ A Love That Comes from God

We cannot produce this kind of love by our own strength. It grows when we allow God to fill us. The more we understand His love, the more we become able to pass it on to others.

In this way, love becomes not only a commandment, but a natural fruit of our life with Christ.

πŸ™ Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for the great love You have shown me.

Fill my heart with this love,
so that I may share it with others.

Help me to love You with all my heart
and not overlook my neighbor.

Transform my life,
so that Your love may be visible in it.

Amen.
