👑 The King is coming soon – Hope beyond the end
🔥 March 26 – The God Who Saves: A Testimony for Kings
Monthly Theme: Daniel: The God Who Guides History – Faithfulness in the Fiery Trial
Year Theme 2026: “The King Is Coming Soon – Hope Beyond the End”
📖 Central Bible Text of the Day
“He is the living God, who endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed. He rescues and saves; he performs signs and wonders.”
— Daniel 6:27
🌅 Devotional Thought of the Day
Several times in the book of Daniel, pagan kings publicly acknowledge the greatness of God.
Nebuchadnezzar, Darius, and other rulers recognize:
There is a God who is higher than any earthly power.
How did this happen?
Not through political influence,
but through the faithful testimony of a single person.
Daniel lived so consistently with God
that even kings had to recognize God’s work.
✨ Salvation as a Revelation of God’s Character
The rescue from the fiery furnace,
the protection in the lions’ den —
these miracles had one purpose:
To show who God is.
“That all peoples… may know that the Most High rules over the kingdoms of men.”
— Daniel 4:14
Ellen G. White wrote:
“God revealed His power so that kings and nations might acknowledge His authority.”
(Prophets and Kings, p. 512)
God does not only save out of love for His children,
but also as a testimony to the world.
🌿 A Quiet but Powerful Testimony
Daniel did not preach loudly in the royal court.
His life spoke.
Integrity, wisdom, and peace made him trustworthy.
“Let your light shine before others.”
— Matthew 5:16
Often, the strongest testimony is not an argument,
but a faithful life.
🕊️ God’s Power Revealed in Weakness
Daniel had no army,
no political power —
yet through his faithfulness, God reached the highest levels of society.
Ellen G. White wrote:
“The influence of a life devoted to God reaches farther than we can imagine.”
(Maranatha, p. 207)
Our daily lives can also reach people
we may never speak to directly.
🌄 A Testimony in the End Time
Like Daniel, God’s people at the end of time live among worldly systems.
Faithfulness will again be a testimony.
Not through force,
but through love and steadfastness,
God’s character will be revealed.
🙏 Prayer
Dear Father in heaven,
thank You that You are the God who saves and helps.
Let my life be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Help me to live each day
so that others may recognize Your love.
Give me courage and humility
to serve You faithfully where You have placed me.
Amen.
💭 Thought for the Day
“A life of faithfulness to God is the most powerful sermon a person can preach.”
— Ellen G. White
