📖 When the Bible Comes Alive

“And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself.”

Have you ever read the Bible and thought:
“I don’t understand anything.”
Don’t worry.
You are not alone.
Even the disciples, who had been walking with Jesus for years, did not understand many things.
That is why Jesus did not blame them.
He also did not sit down and say:
“First, learn more.”
No.
He took His time.
Step by step, He opened the Holy Scriptures to them.
Suddenly, old stories became living hope.
Promises became certainty.
And confusion turned into trust.
That is exactly what I also wish for this journey together.
We do not read the Bible only to know more.
We read it to discover Jesus.
Because the whole Bible tells His story.
And every time we open the Bible, we may pray:
“Jesus, reveal Yourself to me.”
Maybe you do not understand everything today.
And you do not have to.
Just keep going.
Because God’s Word often reveals its beauty step by step.
💭 Think About It
With what expectation do I actually open the Bible?
Am I looking for information — or am I looking for Jesus?
🙏 Prayer
Dear Father,
thank You for Your Word.
Please open my eyes so that I may discover Jesus in it.
Give me patience when I do not understand something right away, and joy in getting to know You a little more each day.
Speak to my heart today.
Amen.
