“Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven,
having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—
to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—
saying with a loud voice:
Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come;
and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
— Revelation 14:6–7

🌅 Devotional of the Day

The three angels’ messages in Revelation 14 are God’s final message of love to the world.
They call humanity back to worship, truth, and faithfulness—
a call of grace before Christ appears in glory.

These messages are heaven’s answer
to a world that has exchanged truth for deception.
They invite us to make the decision
to whom we will give our hearts and our lives.

Ellen G. White wrote:
“The proclamation of the three angels’ messages is the most important work
that can be done on earth today.
Nothing else should engage our attention as much as this work.”
(Evangelism, p. 119)

✨ The First Message – A Call to Worship

The first angel proclaims an “everlasting gospel”
and calls people to worship the Creator.
This is a call to true worship—
not out of fear, but out of reverence and love.

“Fear God and give glory to Him,
for the hour of His judgment has come.”
— Revelation 14:7

This call reminds us
that we are responsible for the light we have received.
It is a call to repentance,
a call to worship the Creator—
in the sign of His Sabbath.

Ellen White wrote:
“The message to fear God and give glory to Him
calls people back to the worship of the Creator.
It contains the appeal to respect the divine law
and to keep holy the Sabbath of the Lord.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 437)

🌿 The Second Message – A Call to Separation

“Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city,
because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
— Revelation 14:8

Babylon stands symbolically for religious confusion—
for human systems that have replaced God’s Word with traditions.
The second angel calls:
Leave confusion behind and return to the purity of faith!

Ellen White explains:
“Babylon represents the apostate churches
that have rejected the Word of God.
The call of the second angel urges God’s people
to separate from error and human commandments
and to return to the truth.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 383)

This call is not an accusation,
but an invitation to truth—
an act of divine mercy before the final decision.

🕊️ The Third Message – A Warning Against the Beast

“If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark…
he himself shall also drink of the wrath of God.”
— Revelation 14:9–10

This solemn warning reveals the climax of the great controversy.
The final conflict will be about worship—
faithfulness to God or to human powers
that seek to take God’s place.

Yet in the middle of the warning stands hope:

“Here is the patience of the saints;
here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
— Revelation 14:12

God’s people will be marked by
obedience out of love and by the faith of Jesus—
a deep, living relationship with the Savior.

Ellen White wrote:
“The third angel’s message is the most solemn warning
ever given to human beings.
It prepares a people who stand firm in the faith of Jesus
and remain faithful to God’s commandments.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 449)

🌄 The Three Messages – The Light of Hope

These three messages do not lead into fear,
but into freedom.
They show the way to a worship
founded on truth, grace, and obedience.

In the end, the earth will be filled with the light of this message:

“After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven,
having great authority,
and the earth was illuminated with his glory.”
— Revelation 18:1

Ellen White describes:
“The work of the three angels’ messages will end in glory.
The earth will be lighted with the brightness of divine truth,
and millions will decide to follow the Lamb.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 611)

🙏 Prayer

Eternal Father,
thank You for Your message of love and warning
that calls us to the truth.

Help me to listen to the voice of the angels
and remain faithful in the hour of testing.

Let me reflect Your light
so that others may see the beauty of Your truth.

Prepare me for the day
when Your people will cry with one voice:
“Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him!”
