Where Godโs miracles grow big โ for little and big children
๐โก๏ธโค๏ธ Judges 10 โ When a people hurt Godโs heart โฆ and God still helps
๐ A story about mistakes, the courage to turn back, and Godโs great love
๐ Introduction
Do you know the feeling when someone you love simply ignores you?
Thatโs how God felt with the people of Israel. They acted as if they no longer needed Him.
In Judges 10 we learn how painful that was for God โ but also how much He rejoices when people return to Him.
It is a story full of tension, emotions, and an ending full of hope.
๐ The Bible story
๐ A peaceful beginning โ and a slow forgetting
After many adventures and difficulties, Israel entered a quiet, peaceful time. Two men, Tola and Jair, led the people.
It was a season when the sun shone brightly ๐, children laughed ๐, and the fields were full of grain.
But sometimes something dangerous happens when everything is going well:
people forget who helped them.
And that is exactly what happened.
The people stopped praying to God ๐.
They no longer looked to Him.
Instead, they began to worship strange figures โ idols made of wood, stone, and metal ๐ชต๐ฟ.
These โgodsโ could not hear ๐, could not speak ๐ฃ๏ธ, and could not help ๐คท.
But the people believed in them anyway.
Godโs heart hurt. ๐
He had done so much for them โฆ and they simply walked away.
โ๏ธ Israel learns a hard lesson
God said:
โIf you leave Me โฆ then I will not stop you.โ
And so it happened:
enemies from the surrounding nations attacked Israel. They were strong, cruel, and made life very hard for the Israelites ๐.
For 18 years they were oppressed.
18 years of fear.
18 years of pain.
18 years without peace.
Their hearts became heavy like stone.
๐ข The moment Israel understands
One day, the people could not bear it any longer.
They cried out to God:
โLord! We have done wrong! Please help us again! We need You!โ ๐ญ๐
God answered firmly โ and also sadly:
โI have rescued you so many times.
But every time you ran away again.
Why do you call to Me now?โ
This hurt Israel deeply.
They realized how much they had hurt God.
They looked at the idols standing everywhere and suddenly understood:
they can do NOTHING!
So they took the idols and threw them away ๐๏ธ โ
out of their houses, out of their tents, and out of their hearts.
And they said:
โGod, we want to serve You again โ sincerely!โ
๐ Godโs heart grows soft
Then something beautiful happens.
The Bible says:
God had compassion.
That means:
His heart became warm again โค๏ธ.
He felt their tears.
He saw their real, honest hearts.
And God no longer said โNo.โ
He began to prepare a rescuer who would help Israel.
๐น A faith adventure begins
The enemies were already standing ready.
Israel did not know what would happen next.
But God was with them again.
He was watching over them.
He was planning something great.
The rescue was already on its way โ it would come in the next chapter.
But Judges 10 shows us this:
Turning back brings hope.
And Godโs love is stronger than our mistakes.
๐ฃ Summary
The people of Israel forgot God and fell into great trouble.
When they realized how wrong this was, they turned back to God, removed their mistakes, and asked for help.
God, who loved them, forgave them and began to rescue them once again.
๐ Message for us today
๐ We also make mistakes โ but God does not throw us away.
๐ God rejoices greatly when we return to Him.
๐ Things that distract us from God can be โthrown away,โ just like Israel threw away the idols.
๐ When we are honest with God, His heart is full of love for us.

โJephthah โ the outsider whom God turns into a hero!โ
๐ฅ Jephthah โ rejected, forgotten โฆ and then called!
Everyone wanted to get rid of him โ but when Israel was in great trouble, they suddenly called him.
Jephthah, the outsider, was meant to be their rescuer.
Will he help them? Will he trust God โ despite everything that has happened?
๐ A story full of courage, twists, and a God who sees more than everyone else.
