πŸŒ™ Still Awake?

A little closer to Jesus every evening.

🌟 God Loves the Small Things

πŸ“– Matthew 2:6

β€œAnd thou Bethlehem … art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor …”
Matthew 2:6

Bethlehem.

A small village.

Not the capital.

Not the center of power.

Not the place people would have chosen.

And yet this is exactly where God’s greatest story begins.

Why?

Because God acts differently from us.

We often look at what is great.

At success.

At fame.

At people who are admired.

God looks at the heart.

That is why He chose Bethlehem.

And that is why He can also use you.

Perhaps you sometimes feel unnoticed.

Not especially talented.

Not popular.

Not important.

Then remember Bethlehem.

What is small is never insignificant to God.

He sees possibilities where we see only limitations.

He writes history in places that others overlook.

And He works through people who are willing to trust Him.

Perhaps no one believes in you today.

But your loving Father does.

And that is all you need.

πŸ’ Think About It

Is there something about yourself that you consider too small or insignificant?

How might God use that very thing?

πŸ™ Prayer

Dear Father,

thank You that You do not look at outward appearances.

Thank You that You see the people whom others overlook.

Help me not to measure my worth by the standards of this world, but to see myself through Your eyes.

Use my lifeβ€”no matter how small I may sometimes feel.

Amen.

πŸŒ™ Sleep well.

Your loving Father sees greatness in what appears small.

See you tomorrow.
