π Central Bible Text of the Day
βBe faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.β
β Revelation 2:10
π Devotional of the Day
The journey of faith is not a short section, but a lifelong path. It begins with a decision, yet it unfolds in faithfulness over time. God does not only call us to begin, but also to persevere.
Faithfulness until the end does not mean that we never experience weaknesses or setbacks. It means that, despite everything, we hold on to God. Again and again, step by step. It is a trust that does not give up, even when the road is challenging.
The Bible reminds us that God Himself is faithful. He does not leave us on our journey. What He has begun, He will also complete. This assurance gives strength to keep going.
β¨ God Completes What He Begins
Our faithfulness is important, but it is grounded in Godβs faithfulness. He is the One who carries us and leads us through.
Ellen G. White wrote:
βGod will complete the work He has begun in the heart, if we trust Him.β
(Maranatha, p. 262)
This promise takes away the fear of failure and gives hope.
πΏ Faithfulness in Small Things
Faithfulness often shows itself in seemingly insignificant moments. It is the daily decisions that shape our lives: remaining in prayer, taking Godβs Word seriously, and being honest and sincere even in small things.
This faithfulness shapes our character and prepares us for completion.
Ellen G. White wrote:
βFaithfulness in little things is the foundation of faithfulness in great things.β
(Christβs Object Lessons, p. 356)
ποΈ The Crown of Life
The promise at the end of the journey is not a reward for achievement, but a gift. The βcrown of lifeβ represents fellowship with God that never ends.
This hope directs our eyes forward. It reminds us that our journey has a goalβand that this goal is secure.
π Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
thank You for walking with me on my journey.
Help me to remain faithful to You,
even when it becomes difficult.
Strengthen my trust in Your guidance
and hold me firmly in Your hand.
Lead me until the end
and complete Your work in me.
Amen.
π Thought for the Day
Faithfulness until the end grows out of the trust that God leads us all the way to the goal.
